As the UK’s flag-carrier airline, we constantly strive to enhance our customers’ journeys. One of the most significant changes we are rolling out in 2018 is our upgraded business class experience. Inspired by feedback from both customers and colleagues, the new Club World is designed to ensure we offer a service that takes our premium travel experience to exciting new heights.
A better flight’s sleep
Club World customers can now enjoy the best possible sleep on board. Luxurious new bedding from The White Company, exclusively for British Airways customers, is available at every Club World seat. This includes new 230 thread-count pillow cases, duvets, padded mattresses with soft toppers and sheets, as well as satin-trimmed woven blankets.
Every business class customer will also receive an amenity kit containing products from The White Company’s sumptuous Restore & Relax Spa collection, including moisturiser, treatment oil, skin conditioning cream and lip balm.
A new on-board dining experience
Club World customers can enjoy new restaurant-style dining, which means they can choose their freshly prepared dishes from new display trolleys. Customers now have a greater selection of dishes and can choose their starters, desserts and cheese board options from a display trolley without leaving their seat.
For a touch of decadence, dedicated cabin crew will present meals alongside smart new table settings, complete with elegant new crockery and glasses.
Brand new lounges
We are opening newly designed airport lounges at New York JFK, Boston, London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Aberdeen, Rome, Geneva, San Francisco, Johannesburg, Manchester and Chicago soon. Features like new furnishings, modern business facilities and a superior choice of food brings customers an experience that can be as restful or productive as they like.
From late 2018, customers travelling from New York JFK can check in at an exclusive new Premium Zone, which also includes direct access to Fast Track security and even more comfortable lounges. This change promotes a faster and more efficient experience at check in and beyond.
The Club World investment will continue across 2019, when the cabin will feature brand new Club World seats, all with direct aisle access, for even more comfort.
